About Sprayberry School District

Their success has been measured by consistently high scores on the SAT, Georgia High School Graduation Test, and State End-of-Course Tests. They've have made AYP every year since their introduction, and in 2011 were named a Georgia School of Excellence. They were also recognized with a Platinum Level Award by the Governor's Office (one of only a handful of schools who were recognized for both highest achievement and greatest gains). Sprayberry's athletic program offers 22 sports along with band, chorus, orchestra, drama & other extra curricular activities.

The Georgia Department of Education has consistently recognized Sprayberry as an AP Honors School in AP STEM, AP STEM Achievement, AP Merit & AP Humanities, offering 21 AP courses including Math, Science, English, Social Studies and Fine Arts. Roughly 30% of students take an AP course at Spraberry and almost 60% of those students who take the AP exam earn a score of '3' of higher - exceeding the state average.
