Located on Shallowford Road in Marietta, Lassiter High School, a national and Cobb STEM certified school, was established in 1981 and is home to over 2000 students.

Lassiter is one of 17 high schools in Cobb County and earned a CCRPI (College & Career Ready Performance Index) score of 100.6 ranking it among the top three schools in the metro Atlanta area. The AP® participation rate at Lassiter High School is 63 percent & the student body makeup is 50 percent male and 50 percent female.
Lassiter offers a variety of different advanced placement courses in the areas of fine arts, English, mathematics, science, career/technology, foreign language, and social studies. The school also earned AP Merit School status as a result of having 20% or more of the student body take AP exams, and at least 50% scoring 3 or higher.
The Lassiter athletic program offers a variety of sports for students to get involved, along with various Clubs and Performing Arts activities.
