Here are the latest numbers from the second quarter of 2019 in the Lassiter High School District as they compare to Q2 of 2018:
In Q2 of 2019, 150 homes sold—a year-over-year decrease of 26 sales.
In terms of the number of days on market, Lassiter remained the same year over year at 44 days.
The average sales price increased from $441,000 last year to $423,000 this year.
Interestingly, the average list-to-sale price ratio, which shows much much sellers are negotiating on their homes based on their sales prices, was 97% last year. This year, however, it jumped clear up to 102%! This shows that the sellers in Lassiter are getting more for their homes than their listing price, despite the fact that the number of home sales dropped, the amount of time it takes to sell a home remained the same, and that the average sales price dropped just a little bit.
Here are some other interesting statistics about Lassiter:
277 new listings were brought to market in Q2 of 2019, while 240 were brought in Q2 of 2018
There are currently 163 listings for sale, with an average list price of $568,000
